Even though I’m known for pairing just about any piece of footwear with a suit, these boots inspired a more casual aesthetic to my entire out and that can be attributed the Vibram® soles. I’ve worn these boots several times with texture flannel suits in navy & grey and the nap of the suede complements those looks well. With this particular outfit, the combination of textures in the denim jacket and herringbone cargo pants play an understated roll of bringing the look together.
Since there a ton of things going on in this look, the brown of the boots acts a the center piece for the entire outfit. It’s surprising that when you pair neutral colors together, brown can be the stand out piece. The contrasting rubber sole as the “work wear” touch to an otherwise suede dress boot.
