Fellas, it’s time to admit the truth—the ladies have been onto something for a while now. Rosé is definitely a delicious wine choice! This summer, I made it my mission not only to level up my cocktail game (think espresso martinis, Old-Fashioneds, and classic martinis) but also to add rosé and other wines to my go-to list of beverages. Cheers to expanding horizons!
The search has been somewhat epic and quite delicious and I landed on The Perfect Rosé by The Perfect Wines. Yes, it’s the name fits. This year The Perfect Rose was one of 20 U.S. wines to received a gold medal at Decanter World Wine Award — and the only Pennsylvania wine to ever receive that distinction.

Now, let’s talk about why I’m loving this rosé. For me, it’s all about versatility—it pairs with just about anything. The flavor profile is crisp and acidic, dry, with a slight fruitiness (think berry-forward without the sweetness) and full-bodied. As someone who loves charcuterie boards, fish tacos, and sushi, this rosé is the perfect complement to all my favorite bites.
So, yeah — I’ve never been a rosé guy but here I am. Personally, I’m looking forward to pairing The Perfect Rosé with steak, lobster & oysters. Let me know in the comments, what’s your take on rosé.
