Last summer, I was fortunate enough to take a trip to Italy for the menswear tradeshow, Pitti Uomo. As my style has evolved, I’ve taken a fair amount of cues from the sartorial juggernauts from Italy. During my trip, white trousers were on every guy and I was welcoming to see because they were already a staple in my wardrobe. If you’re invited to a summer garden party, wedding or something involving horses prancing around, this look will turn heads.

• Your white trousers should be well-tailored, especially if you’re wearing a heavier chino
• This is the one time that a loafer is a MUST
• The blue, washed denim shirt is extremely versatile and complements all parts of this look
• As with the business look, you can opt for a cinnamon loafer as well (it may look even better than this option)
• Have fun with this look in regard to your accessories. Add a cotton, weave or ribbon belt
