Heritage Division, the California-based workshop & design firm is on a mission to bring the best products from around the world to the US — their collaboration with Italian bike makers, Taurus, is set to give the US a more stylish way to get around. If you’re not familiar with Taurus, their a 108 year old, family-own bike maker that is more synonymous with Italian sprezzatura than rocking the tail of your neck tie askew.
With their recent collection, they introduced four bike styles (Corsa, Lusso, Strada, Viaggio) each with their distinct style & detailed features — think country-side cruiser features to city-bike race inspired details. One of the main characteristics of this particular collab is Heritage Division’s commitment to technology. Each bike will come equip with GPS technology, making your bike trackable if it were ever stolen. Technology aside, each bike is hand crafted at Taurus’ factory in Milan Italy by artisans that have crafted these specialty pieces for decades.
From the collection, the Strada really catches my eye. It’s a city bike with the right swagger to accompany your tailored or sporty style. If I get my hands on one, I’ll give you a full review, but, for now check out the brand and get a feel for their story.
