The Tan Color Family Contrast
If you consider yourself a style novice or even a traditionalist, one of the easiest contrasting tassel combination to execute is in tan/brown where tan is the base shoe color. Conversely, if you’re looking for a true classic, opt for a shoe with a cinnamon brown base with tan tassels. Below are a few tips for rocking the light style like the ones featured here;
- As with this look, use this shoe as your accent color. Traditionally, you’d wear a camel leather loafer with a blue-grey suit, however; you can achieve a similar and more worldly look with this combination
- To add some uniformity to the look, pairing a watchstrap in the same color-family as your tassels will do the trick
- If you’re not a suit guy, a pair dark wash jeans or white or blue chinos pair well with these loafers
- For the suited guy, rock these with grey, navy or a khaki suit (for that all khaki everything look)
