A Subtly Amped Up Pants Battle Emerges
Pants, we’ve all got to wear them. And if you don’t, more power to you! Of course, we have our basic jeans, chinos and dress pants in every color way imaginable — so, now it’s time to put two pair up to a challenge. In the battle of subtly amped-up-style, we’te putting Camo Joggers & White Jeans head-to-head to see which pair of pants is best.
As you may know, Walmart has become my go-to for style basics, so I’m happy to partner with Walmart Fashion and their #WeDressAmerica campaign to put two looks together, in a style battle of sorts. Any image you see in this blog post with the red Hotspot icons are shoppable, so have fun getting a few pieces from each look while they last.
As always, let us know, what’s your favorite of the two looks in the comments section and be sure to shop the looks!
Over the last few years, camo has really become a “neutral” in everybody’s wardrobe. Thankfully, there are pattern varieties like military, digi and like the ones featured here — Tiger Camo to keep us fresh. So, why is the pattern so popular? It’s tough, high-end, versatile and adds the right amount of punch/juxtaposition to a basic fit.
Why This Look Works
Home » Style Battle: Camo Joggers vs White Jeans
- Overall, the look is sporty
- Adding a polished dress shoe to a jogger and baseball jacket kit turn this until an unexpected street style move
- With a black track stripe on the leg, the look is less military wannabe and more military inspired
White jeans provide the best and most neutral backdrop to any outfit. Depending on the styling, your look can go from retro, Italian sprezzy to street style all-star. For an easy comparison, we kept the look the same as camo jogger outfit (except for the pants).
Why This Look Works
- Literally, the perfect neutral
- Black & white always look great
- Pairing a sporty baseball jacket with a slim/tailored white jean is an upgraded style move
- Opting for a marled grey sock instead of a solid black sock adds needed depth
