Founder & Creative Director of Men's Style Pro, Sabir has…
Last week, men’s fashion to center stage at the CFDA‘s New York Fashion Week: Men’s. With attention focused on the emerging designers presentations at of the 1st day, which is known as Men’s Day aka NYMD — we turned our attention outside to see street style trends were catching our eye.
Street Style Trends To Watch
- Topcoats – it’s winter, so hopefully guys are dressing appropriately for the weather in NYC. There were a variety of neutral & bright color topcoats, worn in traditional & non-traditional ways. Guys were adding lapel pins and patches to their coats to stand out from the crowd and their own personality to their looks. Are you looking for a top caught switch-up? Opt for a textured one which adds depth to a traditional piece of outerwear.
- Soccer Hooligan Style – Adidas bombers & sweats with hoodies are back and hitting the street and the runway stronger ever. Mix up the look by rocking a track jacket with more tailored pieces
- Chelsea Boots Reign Supreme – the preferred shoe of every aspiring street-style star, the Chelsea boot is back and more accessible than ever. Mark McNairy’s New Republic & Common Projects were the two brands that were most prevalent on Men’s Day & throughout NYFW: Men’s.
