The wait is (almost) finally over. For the past few months the King of Prussia Mall has been doing a bit of a “facelift” and reconstructing to some its many stores. One of those stores that (is getting a facelift) has been a style staple for men and women alike in the Philadelphia area and all over the country has been EXPRESS. The EXPRESS in the King of Prussia mall has undergone a transformation that is set to blow us all away.
When I made my first big style upgrade the summer before my junior year of college I made a trip to EXPRESS in the King of Prussia Mall. If I remember correctly, I purchased about three hundred dollars worth of new “dress” clothes and everyday ready to wear apparel. Honestly, for the next few years you could find me in EXPRESS at least once or twice a month to shop or just get ideas of how I want to grow my personal style.
Be prepared for a shopping experience like no other. For your convenience and just plain fun, you will be able to access touch screen computer station around for online shopping or to browse the Express Twitter and Facebook pages. EXPRESS has teamed up with world-renowned Japanese design firm, Wonderwall. Wonderwall has designed spaces for locations such as MACKINTOSH London, A Bathing Ape Pirate Store and OZONE (The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong) just to name a few. So when it came to designing the new look for EXPRESS of King of Prussia Mall, the design team of Wonderwall came in and totally flipped the old EXPRESS and gave it new life.
Shopping at EXPRESS no longer has to be a solo experience. Bring your guy or girl to the dual gender “Denim Lab” and shop together. The new look of EXPRESS is a much more modern and sophisticated vibe with oak wood ceilings and LED lights which would make any fashion forward shopper feel at home (and maybe give you some design ideas for your own home). There will be a grand opening event on June 29th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm to unveil the new design concept for EXPRESS and to of course bring the great styles that we have been patiently anticipating.
