Sweltering temperatures, Covid-19, face masks and a host of other reasons might have suiting up at the bottom of your style priorities. But, some offices are getting back to business and dress codes are still in full effect, so, finding a way to suit up and stay cool is ideal.
Seersucker is the OG of warm-weather fabrics and have been featured on MSP for years. Recently, Moda Matters released an unconstructed, navy seersucker suit — the Luca. For some quick inspiration, we styled this summer to fall transitional suit two ways.
Before you leave, let us know which look is your favorite in the comments below.
Summer Business

Rocking a navy suit doens’t have to be all “business”. Meaning, you can ditch the stark white shirt and opt for a shade of blue in a not so traditional fabric. Think washed-denim or a linen blend.
How To Style This Suit For The Office
- Opt for suede shoes. By pairing this suit with a more textured shoe, it will play up the casual nature of seersucker but is still work appropriate
- Save the wool and silk ties for the late fall and go with knit or raw silk version
- Break this suit up and use the jacket as a blazer. Trust me, you’ll look great in those Zoom meetings

Camp collar shirts have passed trend status and are now a summer style staple (along side this seersucker suit). Ranging from bold prints to classic neutral colors, pairing a camp collar shirt is casual cool — elevated.
One of the easiest style moves to make with a navy suit and camp collar shirt is to go monochromatic. Find a shirt with a base the same color as the suit and other hues of the rich color.
