Founder & Creative Director of Men's Style Pro, Sabir has…
First, I would like to say Happy New Year to everyone. Secondly, I hope everyone has great plans and goals for 2011. This year my wife and I hosted a great party at our house with some many of our friends. New Years Ever is the perfect time to really get dressed up for an event, even if it’s in your house. We took it up a notch and order a back drop so that everyone could take pictures and we printed them a souvenir. We gave our party the “Red Carpet” theme so that everyone had to chance to really dress up and have a ball.
Traditionally, most guys will go with the black suit (or tuxedo) with a white shirt and black bow tie for an NYE party. While you still will probably look great in your traditional ensemble, adding a bit of color to your look but keeping it light will give your look some character. You may have noticed that my pocket square is a paisley tie. This is no real trick of the trade, it just something that can show the versatility of your wardrobe. Yes, wear a bow tie for New Years and make sure its a self tie. They are easy to learn how to tie and you now have a skill that will last you a life time.
There is no better accessory at a great party than your beautiful wife.
