Eyewear | Summer Classic Sunglasses
One growing trend this spring/summer in eyewear are bold color frames for your sunglasses. Before you take the leap into eye-popping frames, get a grasp on some of the classics. If you’ve paid attention to the evolution of NBA fashion over past few seasons, you’ve seen guy rocking thick, bold color frames (often without lenses..please don’t adopt that look..ahem Russell Westbrook). Of course it’s fun to be different with your eyewear, but, you’ve got to understand what you are doing, to some extent.
Eyewear should be thought of as a complement to your outfit and not just for protection from the sun. Of course there will be the times that you are sporting some shades to nurse a hangover, but, the majority of the time you are wearing sunglasses because you actually want to look cool. Below are three looks with sunglasses from Coastal.com. Offering discount eyewear and eyewear accessories, Coastal will probably have a pair of glasses to fit your face.

Pairing sunglasses with your work-wear is often where most guys miss the mark. Too often we’ll see guys rocking wrap-around athletic shades with a suit and tie. Step 1, ditch the rec specs during the work week and opt for a pair of metal framed aviators. Metal framed aviators are sleek and complement a tailored look better than its chunky plastic counterparts. Plus, you can’t look more bad-ass and polish at the same time!
A great way to add some consistency to your look, keep the rest of the metals in your look in the same color family as your frames. Matching your metals will add a very polish look to your already tailored outfit.
One of the best ways to amp up your casual look is with a pair of acetate frames. As opposed to your work wear look, a plastic or acetate frame works well because they usually add a bit more depth to your look because they are chunkier. This particular pair of sunglasses offers a keyhole cutout at the nose, which is very comfortable and leave the glasses pressed directly on your face (resting on your nose).
The overall shape of these glasses is a hybrid of the wayfarer and the aviator, which can work for more faces, however; not all. To balance out the rounded edges of these sunglasses, a more defined face structure works best.

The wayfarer style of sunglasses is probably the most popular and recognizable style around. The great thing about this particular style is that they can be worn by every face shape and every style of outfit. During the summer you may be attending garden parties, summer wedding or just about anything outdoors (hopefully, with a cold drink in hand) and the wayfarer is a fool-proof way to look cool and polished.
Wayfarers are much more square than the aviator style of sunglasses, but, are round at the bottom. With this mixture of shape, wayfarers tend to look great on everyone. Look for a pair like the ones featured if you plan to wear them with more “formal” and casual looks. This style is pretty much an essential.
